Southern Palms Beach Resort - Diani Beach

The variety of delicious food, including the stewed partridge, was a highlight. The front desk staff seemed inattentive, and the rooms could use more thorough cleaning. Noise from the nearby pool area during the evening disrupted relaxation at times.

location: the hotel was really close to diani beach or the african east coast, surrounding shops, and the main restaurant brendah wangila and benson mutua. there was a grill restaurant nearby. we stayed in a double room with a safe box, an air conditioner, and coffee.

We loved the beachfront location and how much there was for the kids to do, like the kids club and two pools. The staff were great with our grandkids, especially Julius who always made sure their requests were met.

My kids wished there were more varied dining options, as the buffet felt repetitive .

It was a perfect city break, I would book again. A useful base for exploring Diani Beach...

The experience was enjoyable with plenty of activities for the kids, and the staff kept the grounds clean and well-maintained. The all-inclusive dining offered several options that catered to our family, including fresh fruit and delicious vegetarian dishes. The proximity to the beach was great for daily walks, but it was occasionally interrupted by vendors. It was a fun stay, and the kids particularly loved the nightly entertainment and the pool area.

The beach bar served amazing butter garlic fish, definitely a must-try! The staff was super friendly, especially Emelda and Kithikki Alan, who kept our drinks flowing. The room was pretty cozy with a comfortable bed and nice view. The spa had great massages and beauty services. Pools were nice and spacious for everyone to enjoy.

Oh my goodness, the food was fantastic! Every meal was a treat, especially the amazing variety of Indian dishes that catered to my vegetarian needs. Plus, like the lovely duo Elizabeth & Alice.

Amazing friendly staff, fresh delicious food.

The Superior room was pretty spacious, nice. I liked that there was enough storage for our stuff, and the bed was a decent size. But I heard some folks had issues with other rooms, like noisy TVs and showers not working well. Our room wasvery comfy and tidy, but I kinda wonder about the consistency across the hotel.

I had a wonderful romantic weekend here! The ocean front room offered fine beach views and the delicious food exceeded my expectations from my previous stay in diani beach. The staff was attentive.
